Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2359735A2] The appliance has a housing (1), and an upper door (2) moved against the housing, and an interior space (4) e.g. cooking space, formed by the housing and the door. A handle (10) with a handle element (11) is arranged at the door and actuates the door. The handle is moved between two positions, and the handle element is arranged in one of the positions at the door closer than another one of the positions. An air space (22) is arranged at the door. The handle is pivoted around a pivoting axis (17), which runs parallel to an outer surface of the door, and comprises a locking plate (21).
