[origin: EP2359948A1] The machine has a bending beam (2) connected with side connecting parts at a pivot bearing part (1) by a longitudinal guide. The longitudinal guide is adjusted in a plane perpendicular to a pivoting axis (5) such that a bending rail (3) reaches an initial position after pivoting the bending beam. An end of a guide rail (10) of the longitudinal guide adjacent to the bending rail is formed for adjusting the longitudinal guide. The guide rail with a detachable end is adjusted between stops. A locking unit is attached relative to the initial position of the bending rail.
