Die Erfindung betrifft eine Maschine zur Herstellung einer Papier-, Karton- oder Tissuebahn, mit einer Walze mit Mantelfläche und mit einem die Mantelfläche der Walze abschnittweise umschlingenden Endlosband, insbesondere Transferband, welches eine Unterseite hat, die im Umschlingungsbereich mit der Mantelfläche in Kontakt bringbar ist, wobei das Endlosband und / oder die Walze ein geeignetes Speichervolumen bereitstellt, um Fluid, welches im Umschlingungsbereich zwischen Unterseite und Mantelfläche eindringt, zumindest teilweise aufzunehmen.
