Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2360326A1] The structural element has an outer layer (3), a support structure (2), an insulating layer (4) and an inner layer (1), where the inner layer is made of a covering (6), on which a clay layer is applied. The insulating layer is made of untreated cropping chaff, particularly straw chaff. The outer layer is built-in from an air-permeable, permanent sheeting (7) that is diffusible in finished condition and is limited during production process. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a structure element for the construction of an outer shell of buildings.
