The shoe sole (12) has a middle sole body (10) with an air inlet opening and an air outlet opening connected with each other in flow conductive manner. A cavity (30) is formed in the body and connected with the openings. Teeth-like support elements (36, 36', 36'', 36''') are provided in the cavity, and a reinforcing element (22) is supported in the support elements for covering the cavity. The support elements are arranged in the cavity such that air flows over a complete circular mantle surface of the support elements, where the mantle surface extends from the body to the reinforcing element. An independent claim is also included for a walking device comprising cover elements made of thermoplastic elastomer i.e. thermoplastic polyurethane.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schuhboden (12) mit einer einen Mittelsohlenkörper (10) aufweisenden Mittelsohle, wobei sich der Mittelsohlenkörper (10) von einem Fersenbereich über einen Mittelfußbereich zu einem Ballen-Zehenbereich erstreckt und wenigstens eine Lufteintrittsöffnung (26) und wenigstens eine Luftaustrittsöffnung (28) aufweist, die miteinander in Strömungsverbindung stehen, und mit einer an der Unterseite des Mittelsohlenkörpers (10) angeordneten Laufsohle (18). Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass im Mittelsohlenkörper (10) ein mit der wenigstens einen Lufteintrittsöffnung (26) und der wenigstens einen Luftaustrittsöffnung (28) in Verbindung stehender Hohlraum (30) ausgebildet ist, in welchem mehrere vorzugsweise zapfenartige Stützelemente (36, 36' , 36" , 36'") vorgesehen sind, auf denen ein den Hohlraum (30) des Mittelsohlenkörpers (10) von oben abdeckendes Verstärkungselement (22) abgestützt ist und die derart zueinander im Hohlraum (30) angeordnet sind, dass deren jeweilige umlaufende Mantelfläche (38), die sich vom Mittelsohlenkörper (10) zum Verstärkungselement (22) erstreckt, von Luft im Wesentlichen vollständig umströmbar ist. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Gehgerät (16) mit einem derartigen Schuhboden (12).
