Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2361864A1] The device (14) has a receptacle for receiving mailpieces ejected one-by-one via an outlet slot of a franking machine (10). A longitudinal referencing wall extends over a longitudinal edge of the receptacle perpendicularly to the outlet slot. The mailpieces rebound against the referencing wall before accumulating on the receptacle. A vertical back wall forms an angle alpha perpendicular to the referencing wall. The receptacle is inclined toward the referencing wall at an angle such that the angle alpha between the receptacle and the referencing wall forms an acute angle.
