[origin: EP2362049A2] The appliance has a hinge device with a hinge cabinet (12) and a knife (6) arranged in a component of the household appliance, where the knife is rotatable arranged in the hinge cabinet. The hinge cabinet is mountable and/or dismountable in another component of the household appliance without any tools, where the latter component is movably arranged over the hinge device relative to the former component. The hinge cabinet is insertable into a hinge bearing (18). An elastic element (34) i.e. plate spring, holds the hinge cabinet in a work position within the hinge bearing.
