[origin: EP2362058A2] The device (100) has a housing (110) comprising an inner chamber, and a cover flap (120) pivotably connected with the housing, where the cover flap is pivoted from an opened position to a closed position. Water drains from a frame of a sliding door and a sliding window in the opened position, and the sliding door and the sliding window are sealed against external air in the closed position. The cover flap is formed such that two flow paths (112a, 112b) are formed in the inner chamber in the opened position, where the flow paths are separated from each other.
