Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2362132A2] The system has multiple lighting modules (10) provided with planar quadratic carrier frames (12). The lighting modules are interconnected with each other by connectors (20) such that a cantilevered structure is formed. Lights e.g. LEDs (14a-14d) and OLEDs, are arranged in the carrier frame of the lighting modules, where one of the LEDs is arranged on a front side of the lighting module. Cooling members are located on a back of the lighting module to dissipate heat generated in the LEDs. A control unit i.e. bus system, actuates a subset of the lighting modules and/or all the lighting modules.
