[origin: EP2362277A1] The mechanism has a set of memory wheels including a rotational unit for rotational driving about an axis of rotation. A support unit disconnectably cooperates with a support surface of the memory wheels, connectably cooperates with the support surface of one of the memory wheels, and disconnects from the support surface of remaining memory wheels. A differential gear includes an input formed by a motion work wheel set arranged to be driven by movement, another input formed by a crown of the differential gear, and an output consisting of a cannon-pinion or an arbour carrying an hour hand (25). An independent claim is also included for a timepiece comprising a timezone mechanism.
