Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2362491A1] The method involves crimping a crimping section (12) of an electric connection element (10) with aluminum wires (22) of an electric conductor (20). The crimping section crimped with the wires is welded with the wires using resistance welding, where the wires contain aluminum or aluminum alloy. The crimping section is provided with recesses in an inner side that is turned towards the conductor, and material of the wires is pressed in the recesses during crimping, where maximum width of the recesses is less than diameter of the wires. Cladding of the crimping section is made of tin material.
