Abstract (en)
The conveying drum has retaining recesses (66) for retaining bar-shaped articles i.e. tobacco rods (52, 54), of a tobacco processing industry, where the articles are consecutively arranged in a row and conveyed axially transverse to each other. A suction device (80) is arranged in a circumference of the drum in sections and has a suction opening arranged in an area of front sides of the retaining recesses, where the front sides are turned towards each other. The suction device has a suction channel at the circumference of the drum at an angle in the range of 60 to 120 degree Celsius.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Fördertrommel (19) der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie mit Aufnahmemulden (66) zur Aufnahme von stabförmigen Artikeln (52, 54) der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie, wobei die stabförmigen Artikel (52, 54) in wenigstens einer Reihe queraxial hintereinander anordbar oder angeordnet sind oder angeordnet werden. Die Fördertrommel (19) wird dadurch weitergebildet, dass die Fördertrommel (19) auf ihrem Umfang wenigstens abschnittsweise eine Absaugeinrichtung (80) aufweist. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung eine Maschine der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie, insbesondere Filteransetzmaschine.
