Die Erfindung betrifft ein System zum Befestigen einer Schiene S für Schienenfahrzeuge auf einem Untergrund U, das eine Unterplatte (2), Befestigungsmittel (12-15) zum Befestigen der Unterplatte (2) auf dem Untergrund U, eine Oberplatte (21), die in einer Aufnahme (4) angeordnet ist, die an der von dem Untergrund U abgewandten Oberseite der Unterplatte (2) ausgebildet ist, eine in der Aufnahme (4) zwischen der Unterplatte (2) und der Oberplatte (21) angeordnete elastische Zwischenlage (44), über die die Oberplatte (21) elastisch gegen die Unterplatte (2) abgestützt ist, und mindestens ein gegen die Oberplatte (21) verspannbares Federelement (30,31) umfasst, das bei fertig montiertem System (1) eine federnde Niederhaltekraft auf den Schienenfuß F der zu befestigenden Schiene S ausübt.
