Ein Fußprofil 1 dient zur elastischen Lagerung von Schienen 2, wobei das Fußprofil 1 eine als Auflagerfläche für den Schienenfuß 4 dienende Konsole 3 aufweist und den Schienenfuß 4 an seiner Außenseite 6 und/oder von seiner Oberseite 7 her umfasst. Die Konsole 3 des Fußprofils 1 weist zur Reduzierung der horizontalen Auslenkung des Schienenkopfs 5 eine asymmetrische Steifigkeit auf.
