[origin: EP1561997A1] Heat shield comprises a number of shield elements (1, 2) arranged on a support structure (3) provided with a peripheral direction and an axial direction. Peripheral gaps and axial gaps are sealed using sealing elements (13, 33). The sealing elements sealing the axial gaps have a different distance from the support structure than the sealing elements sealing the peripheral elements. An independent claim is also included for a holding element used in the heat shield. Preferred Features: The sealing elements sealing the axial gaps are arranged between the support structure and the shield elements. The shield has an element holder (12).
