Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Bohrhammervorrichtung mit einer Schaltvorrichtung (12), die eine Bohrschalthülse (14), eine Schlagschalthülse (16) und ein Arretierungselement (18) aufweist, das ein Arretierungsmittel (20) umfasst, das dazu vorgesehen ist, zumindest bei einem Meißelbetrieb ein Werkzeugfutter (22) zu arretieren, und das wenigstens ein Führungsmittel (24) umfasst. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Arretierungsmittel (20) in Hauptarbeitsrichtung (26) gesehen hinter dem Führungsmittel (24) angeordnet ist.
