Abstract (en)

The submarine (5) has a communication buoy (10) floated on a water surface (15). The communication buoy is connected with the submarine by a cable (20). A portion of an antenna e.g. long wire antenna or loop antenna, extends along a portion of the cable. An electrical line of the cable forms the portion of the antenna. The antenna includes sea water contacts electrically spaced from each other, where sea water (40) between the contacts acts as a conductive antenna element. One of the sea water contacts is formed by a part of an outer layer (45) of the submarine.

Das Unterseeboot (5) weist eine Antennenanlage mit einer Kommunikationsboje (10) auf. VLF/LF-Empfang kann ohne zusätzliche Antennen durchgeführt werden. Verwendet werden vorhandene Komponenten der Schleppbojen-Anlage, wodurch die Kommunikationsfähigkeit des Bootes um den VLF- und LF-Frequenzbereich erweitert wird. Das Funktionsprinzip ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über einen isolierten Kupferleiter (25) oder Kabelschirm, der sich innerhalb des Schleppkabels (20) der Boje (10) befindet, und über einen Seewasserkontakt (35) an der Boje (10) eine elektrisch leitende Verbindung zum Seewasser (40) hergestellt wird. Einen weiteren Seewasserkontakt (35) bildet der metallische Bootskörper. Das zwischen den Wasserkontakten befindliche Seewasser (40) ist Teil der Antennenanlage und bildet mit dem isoliert geführten Leiter (25) im Schleppkabel (20) eine Rahmenantenne.
