The roller winding device (1) has a preparation position (2) and an unwinding position (3) for a material web roller (5), particularly for a paper- or cardboard web on a winding core (6). The winding core unwound not completely is moved back in the preparation position from the unwinding position. An independent claim is also included for a method for handling a material web roller, particularly a paper- or cardboard web on a winding core.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rollenwickelvorrichtung (1) mit einer Bereitstellungs (2) - und einer Abwickelposition (3) für eine Materialbahnrolle (5), insbesondere für eine Papier- oder Kartonbahn auf einem Wickelkern (6), insbesondere einem Tambour. Man möchte den Raumbedarf einer Rollenwickelvorrichtung gering zu halten und die Produktivität zu erhöhen. Dazu ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass der nicht vollständig abgewickelte Wickelkern (6) aus der Abwickelposition (3) in die Bereitstellungsposition (8) zurück bewegbar ist.
