The fitting (3) has a part (6) connected with a panel (2) and/or a door for retaining a sealing element made of plastic, where the fitting part is provided with smooth or uninterrupted contact surfaces for the panel and/or the door. The fitting part is hollow shaped and has a separately produced cover supported at a base plate. The base plate is reinforced with ribs or bars, and the cover covers the ribs and/or the bars at an opened side. The cover forms a flat side of the fitting part or the base plate and/or is inserted into the base plate.

Es wird ein Beschlag für eine Tür einer Duschabtrennung vorgeschlagen, wobei der Schwenkbewegung der Tür eine Axialbewegung überlagerbar ist. Die Schwenklage dieser der Schwenkbewegung überlagerbaren Axialbewegung ist über ein mit einer Außenverzahnung ausgebildetes Gegenlagerstück und einer zugeordneten Sperreinrichtung festlegbar.
