Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2365178A2] The strip (10) has a strip-shaped carrier element (12) made of plastic, and a flexible seal band (14) attached to the carrier element. The flexible seal band consists of foamed adhesive mass (30) or gel adhesive tape. The seal band is made of acrylate adhesive. The seal band is covered on a surface by a removable protective band (22), where the surface points away from the carrier element. The carrier element is provided with a profile strip (24).
