Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2365248A1] The chimney (1) has an exhaust duct (25) running over multiple floors (11-17) of a residential building (10). The duct comprises a lower end (28) and an upper end (27) that is arranged on a roof of the building. A connection point (22) connects the duct with an outlet of heating installations (19, 20) i.e. low-temperature and/or condensation heaters. Exhaust gas produced by the outlet is lead into the duct and transferred to environment through the duct upper end. An additional chimney pipe (35) is arranged in the duct and projects from the connection point into area of the duct upper end.
