Abstract (en)
The method involves determining distribution of amplitude of electromagnetic radiation adapted to be emitted by a flat plate antenna (2) in a near field in a plane parallel to an upper surface (24) of an antenna support (21) for two frequencies in a operating frequency band of the antenna. Shape and dimensions of sets (331-335) of conductive patterns (33) near a zone where the radiation has high amplitude are determined such that each set of the patterns forms a high impedance surface at frequency corresponding to distribution of the considered amplitude. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an antennal reflector comprising a radiating element mounted on a surface of an antenna support (2) an antenna device comprising an antenna support with a flat surface.

L'invention s'applique au domaine des antennes planes pour des systèmes de télécommunication à très large bande. Elle concerne un réflecteur d'antenne (3) à structure de type conducteur magnétique artificiel (CMA) pour une antenne plane (2), un dispositif d'antenne (1) comportant une antenne plane (2) et ledit réflecteur d'antenne (3), ainsi qu'un procédé de conception du réflecteur d'antenne (3). Une antenne plane (2) comporte généralement un élément rayonnant (23) monté sur un support d'antenne (21). Un réflecteur d'antenne (3) à structure CMA comporte un plan de masse (32) et des ensembles (331-335) de motifs conducteurs (33) disposés de manière non jointive dans un plan sensiblement parallèle au plan de masse. L'antenne plane (2) est apte à être montée sur le réflecteur d'antenne (3). Selon l'invention, la forme et les dimensions des motifs conducteurs (33) sont déterminées de manière à ce que chaque ensemble (331-335) forme localement une surface haute impédance à la fréquence rayonnée localement par l'antenne plane (2).
