Abstract (en)
The straightening roll has a straightening surface (21,22), which is curved along the roll axis and is defined by a corresponding curved generatrix (23,24). The generatrix has two turning points (25,26,27,28). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a straightening roll assembly with a straightening slot; and (2) a method for straightening of rotationally symmetrical work pieces.

Um bekannte Richtwalzen, Richtwalzenanordnungen und insbesondere Zwei-Walzen-Richtmaschinen vorteilhaft weiterentwickeln zu können, schlägt die Erfindung eine um eine Richtwalzenachse (4,5) rotierende Richtwalze (2,3) mit einer entlang der Richtwalzenachse (4,5) gekrümmten Richtfläche (21,22), welche durch eine entsprechend gekrümmte Erzeugende (23,24) definiert wird, vor, wobei die Erzeugende (23,24) wenigstens einen Wendepunkt (25,27) aufweist.
