[origin: EP2366496A1] The power tool (10) has a drive motor (17) for driving a tool retainer that retains tools (24) e.g. grinding disk and polishing disk, where the tool retainer and a drive part (33) are arranged in a tool area (12) of a power tool housing (11). The drive motor is arranged in a motor area (13) of the housing. The tool area and the motor area are arranged at opposite end areas of a handle (14) at a distance to each other with respect to a longitudinal axis (28) of the housing. A motor axis (40) and/or a drive axis (36) run from an upper side (22) to a lower side (21) of the housing.
