[origin: EP2366632A1] The tray (1) has a peripheral side wall (3) extending upward from a bottom wall (2) and defining a peripheral upper edge (30). The side wall is formed of two longitudinal side wall units (31) connected together by transversal side walls (32). A central boss (5) includes longitudinal walls (51) that are arranged opposite to the longitudinal side wall units and are connected to the longitudinal side wall units by a longitudinal junction line for forming two longitudinal reinforcement beams (6). The tray is made of molded cellulose fiber by molding a preformed part by applying and suction of aqueous slurry of cellulose fibers on a mold, and by drying the preformed part between two heated dies.
