Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2367257A2] The method involves charging batteries (1) of a hybrid system by a power generator (3) i.e. fuel cell, in charging phases, and switching the batteries from one charging phase into another charging phase depending on specific parameters. A load (7) is supplied with energy from the power generator for charging the batteries. The power generator and the load are supplied with energy from a part of the batteries of the hybrid system in the latter charging phase. A charging process and/or charging condition of the batteries are monitored by charging condition- and/or temperature sensors. An independent claim is also included for a device for charging a battery in a hybrid system.
