[origin: WO2010057734A1] The invention relates to a machine for producing and/or treating a fiber web, particularly a paper or cardboard web, comprising a press section and a drying section connected downstream from the press section in the web running direction, wherein the press section comprises a last press nip formed by an upper and a lower press roller, through which the fiber web is guided between an upper and a lower covering of the last press nip, and a second to last press nip immediately preceding the last press nip in the web running direction, through which the fiber web is guided between an upper and a lower dewatering belt, particularly pressed felt, of the second to last press nip, wherein the fiber web is guided from the last press nip to a withdrawal point on the lower covering of the last press nip and is transferred at the withdrawal point from the lower covering to a drying sieve of a first drying group of the drying section, wherein the fiber web has a dry content of at least 38%, preferably of at least 45%, particularly preferably of at least 50%, before entering the last press nip. The lower press roller has a larger diameter than the upper press roller and the upper covering of the last press nip is designed as a dewatering belt, and the lower covering of the last press nip is designed as a substantially impermeable transfer belt, and the upper covering sectionally wraps around the lower press roller in the web running direction after leaving the last press nip.
