[origin: EP2368642A1] The device has a spraying booth for lacquering objects e.g. rail-mounted vehicles, and a supply air device for loading the spraying booth with supply air. An exhaust air device is provided for removal of exhaust air from the spraying booth. The supply air and exhaust air devices exhibit motor-driven fans and/or pumps. A control device (17) uses coating material flow as control parameter for controlling the supply air and/or exhaust air devices. Output frequency of a frequency converter (18) controls motor performance of the fans and/or pumps based on the parameter.
