Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2368710A1] The method involves moving blanket cylinders (22) with high circumferential speed than associated plate cylinders (23) during plate exchange process in an operation mode during conveying out push plates (6, 7) from printing elements (1, 2, 3). The plate cylinders are driven with shafts (4). One of the blanket cylinders that is in trouble is rotated with high circumferential speed during the mode for trouble processing. The push plates are conveyed out when the blanket cylinders connected with a machine drive are rotated backward with the high circumferential speed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a printing machine with printing elements (2) a control unit for rotary printing machine.
