The labeling machine has a rotatable supporting plate (4) with a safety device (8) which is designed such that an access is barred between a defined bearing surface and a plate level with a rotating plate. The access is spaced from the plate level for changing the roll material of the defined bearing surface with a stationary pate. The plate has a star wheel which forms the bearing surface for the roll material. An independent claim is also included for a device for receiving a roll material.

Etikettiermaschine (1) zur Verarbeitung von Rollenmaterial (6) mit mindestens einem drehbar gelagerten Teller (4), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Teller (4) mindestens eine Sicherheitsvorrichtung (8) aufweist, die derart ausgestaltet ist, dass bei einem drehenden Teller (4) ein Zugriff zwischen einer definierten Auflagefläche (12) und einer Tellerebene (16) ausgeschlossen ist und/oder dass bei einem ruhenden Teller (4) zum Wechsel des Rollenmaterials (6) die definierte Auflagefläche (12) von der Tellerebene (16) beabstandet ist.
