[origin: EP2369054A1] Curtain-stabilization system comprises (in mass-%): (a) a monoalcohol with 6-16 carbon atoms (0-50); (b) a poly(meth)acrylate (0.1-70); (c) a polyether (3-90); (d1) an ester of a difunctional acid (0.5-60); and/or (d2) a polyglycerol ester, based on the total composition of the curtain-stabilization system (0.5-70). Independent claims are also included for: (1) a curtain coating agent comprising water, at least one binder and the curtain-stabilization system; (2) coating a paper, wood, plastic and/or a metal with the curtain coating agent; and (3) a coated substrate obtained by coating with the coating composition or by the above method.
