[origin: EP2369081A2] The ceiling or wall element is provided with a grid-like surface element (2), and a flat wall section (1.1) of a frame (1) running transverse to the plane of the surface element. The front sides of the surface element are partially covered such that the narrow front side of the flat wall section runs from the visible side along the edge of the surface element. The lugs (1.2) are provided on the inner circumference of the frame in a distance from the lower edge of the wall section, on whose lower side the surface element is fixed.
