Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2369136A1] The stage has a wall (4) that is symmetrical in revolution about an axis of rotation and forming a hollow body that comprises a veil. An annular area is integrally formed with the veil for supporting a row of vanes (14). The annular area includes a central part (21) raised in relation to a central part of the veil. An exterior surface of the central part of the annular area delimits fluid stream between the vanes. The annular area comprises a stiffener part placed perpendicular to the axis of rotation for connecting the central part to the veil. The hollow body is in oval/ogive shape.
