Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010063586A1] Double drive (10) for furniture, for adjusting two spatially separate functional units of a piece of furniture, having a housing (11) and having a drive motor (22) which is coupled to a speed-reducing gear mechanism (23), of which the rotationally drivable output member is operatively connected to a displaceable actuating element (24) and by way of which, when the actuating element (24) can be displaced in the direction of the first functional unit of the piece of furniture, the second functional unit of the piece of furniture can be adjusted once a certain displacement distance has been reached, wherein the actuating element, which is coupled to the output member of the speed-reducing gear mechanism (23), is a longitudinally displaceable, externally threaded spindle (24) which is secured against rotation, wherein the spindle (24) can be displaced optionally in the direction of the first functional unit or in the direction of the second functional unit, wherein the end region of the spindle (24) upon displacement in the direction of the first functional unit acts directly or indirectly on an adjusting lever (20) of the first functional unit, and wherein a pushing device is arranged between the adjusting lever (21) of the second functional unit and that end region of the spindle (24) which is directed towards the second functional unit.
