[origin: WO2011028321A2] Exemplary embodiments provide an animal handling station configured for use in handling an animal. The handling station includes a work platform to support the animal, a lift mechanism that supports, lifts and lowers the work platform, and a handling arm that secures the head of the animal during a handling session. In an exemplary embodiment, the work platform is designed and configured in a dog-bone shaped outline.
