Abstract (en)
The mask (1) has a flexible carrier material for absorbing fluids. A forehead segment (2), a cheek segment (3) and a neck segment (4) are connected with each other by perforations (5, 6) so that the segments are separated from each other. The segments integrally cover corresponding face regions of a human face, and the cheek segment has a curved contour along one of the perforations and extending in a direction of the forehead segment. The carrier material is made of protein e.g. collagen, gelatin, elastin, keratin, fibroin and albumin. An independent claim is also included for a kit-of-parts combination comprising a face mask.

Beschrieben wird eine Gesichtsmaske (1) aus einem flexiblen zur Aufnahme von Flüssigkeiten geeigneten Trägermaterial, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gesichtsmaske ein Stirnsegment (2), ein Wangensegment (3) und ein Halssegment (4) umfasst, wobei die einzelnen Segmente durch Perforationen (5, 6) voneinander getrennt sind und jeweils so ausgebildet sind, dass sie die entsprechenden Gesichtsbereiche eines menschlichen Gesichts einstückig bedecken können und das Wangensegment (3) eine bogenförmige Perforation (5) aufweist, die sich randseitig in Richtung des Stirnteils (2) erstreckt.
