[origin: EP2371721A1] The container has four circularly arranged side walls (1) with a holding part formed as a handle (2) that is directed from a bottom to corners running towards an upper edge of the container. The handle is formed transverse to the adjacent side walls and limited at sides by a hollow profile bar (5), a limiting rib projecting from one of the side walls or a collar provided at an end of the handle. The profile bar, rib or the collar form an inner wall (7) that laterally limits the handle, where the inner wall has an opening for supplying gas to a cavity (8) of the handle. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a plastic container.
