[origin: EP2372163A1] The wheel (1) has fan wheel blades (2, 3) arranged between a base plate (4) and a cover plate. The blades comprise blade surfaces (6, 7), an outer edge (8) and an inner edge (9) when viewed from a fan wheel center point (M). A deflecting unit deflects impurities i.e. oil particles, contained in air supplied by the wheel blades. The deflecting unit is formed as reinforcing profiles (10A-10C), which are associated with the blades and are arranged between the base and cover plates under maintenance of radial distance with respect to the outer edge of the fan wheel blades.
