Abstract (en)
The appliance has a pump for conveying a medium e.g. condensate, that flows in the appliance, and comprising a pump unit partially arranged within a pump housing (15). A housing mantle (18) of the housing partially extends into a filling region of a collecting container so that an outer surface of a region of the mantle is surrounded by the medium at maximum filling height of the medium in the container. A part of the mantle extending into the filling region is formed such that the outer surface is free from a horizontal deposition surface that projects towards a base of the container.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Hausgerät zur Behandlung von Wäsche mit einer Pumpe zum Fördern eines in dem Hausgerät strömenden Mediums 11 mit einem Pumpengehäuse 7, 15, 23 mit einem Gehäusemantel und einem Gehäuseboden 19, 28, und einer zumindest teilweise im Inneren des Pumpengehäuses angeordneten Pumpeinrichtung mit einer Antriebsachse 5 und einem von der Antriebsachse 5 angetriebenen Laufrad 6, mit einem Sammelbehältnis 1 mit einem Behältnisboden 3, wobei der Gehäusemantel zumindest teilweise in einen mit dem Medium befüllbaren Füllbereich 2 des Sammelbehältnis 1 hineinragt, so dass bei maximaler Füllhöhe 4 des Mediums 11 im Sammelbehältnis 1 die äußere Oberfläche eines das Laufrad 6 und einen außerhalb des Laufrads 6 sich erstreckenden Abschnitt der Antriebsachse 5 umschließenden Bereichs des Gehäusemantels 18 von dem Medium 11 umspült ist. Dabei ist der in den Füllbereich 2 hineinragende Teil des Gehäusemantels 18 derart ausgebildet, dass seine Außenfläche im Wesentlichen frei von in Richtung zum Behältnisboden 3 gesehen vorspringenden, im Wesentlichen horizontalen Ablagerungsflächen ist.
