The seat furniture (1) has a base frame (17), a backrest (5), a seat (3) and a footer (4), where the backrest and the footer are coupled within the seat over a coupling rod (11). The coupling rod is formed to transfer a pivotal movement of the backrest relative to the seat on the footer. A stopper (14) is provided for the attachment with the footer. The coupling rod or the backrest is provided in a rear position of the footer.

Dargestellt und beschrieben ist ein Sitzmöbel (1), insbesondere Sessel oder Sofa, mit einem Grundgestell (17), einer Rückenlehne (5), einem Sitz (3) und einem Fußteil (4), wobei die Rückenlehne (5) und das Fußteil (4) unterhalb des Sitzes (3) über ein Koppelgestänge (11) gekoppelt sind, wobei der Sitz (3) aus einer Sitzposition in eine Aufstehhilfsposition schwenkbar am Grundgestell (17) gehalten ist und wobei die Sitzfläche des Sitzes (3) in der Aufstehhilfsposition nach vorne geneigt ist.
