Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2374970A2] The fitting has a gear box (14) with a drive element i.e. lever arm (16), which is rotatably supported around a rotation axis (18) to shift the fitting. The box comprises a bendable or flexible transfer element e.g. toothed belt (34), chain or cable, which is directly coupled with a connecting rod (10), and with the drive element so as to transfer rotation of the drive element into displacement of the connecting rod. A tooth (39) of the belt is engaged in an opening (40) of the drive element. The transfer element at a region of a free end (48) of the lever arm is coupled with the arm. An independent claim is also included for a window e.g. double-winged window or dibble-free window, and/or a door e.g. double-winged door or dibble-free door, comprising a fitting.
