Abstract (en)
The down light-system comprises a holder (2) held in a housing for the corresponding illuminant (1), and a receptacle for a reflector (14). The holder receiving the illuminant in a flat fitting is fixed on a solid heat conducting body (3). The heat conducting body forms the end sided closure of the housing, whose peripheral wall has two cooling profiles (4,5) compressed against the heat conducting body, and a metallic frame (8) with a ventilation opening (10,12).

Die Erfindung beschreibt ein Downlight-System für Leuchtmittel in Form von LED-Modulen oder Halogen-Metalldampflampen, das sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass die das Leuchtmittel (1) aufnehmende Fassung (2) flächig anliegend auf einem massiven Wärmeleitkörper (3) angebracht ist, dass der Wärmeleitkörper (3) den endseitigen Abschluss des Gehäuses bildet, dessen Umfangswand aus zumindest zwei formschlüssig gegen den Wärmeleitkörper (3) gepressten Kühlprofilen (4,5) sowie einem Lüftungsöffnungen (10,12) aufweisenden Metallrahmen (8) besteht, der mit den freien Enden der Kühlprofile (4,5) verschraubt ist und insbesondere zusammen mit dem Kühlprofil-Innenraum einen Reflektoraufnahmeraum bildet.
