[origin: EP2375131A1] The down light-system comprises a holder (2) held in a housing for the corresponding illuminant (1), and a receptacle for a reflector (14). The holder receiving the illuminant in a flat fitting is fixed on a solid heat conducting body (3). The heat conducting body forms the end sided closure of the housing, whose peripheral wall has two cooling profiles (4,5) compressed against the heat conducting body, and a metallic frame (8) with a ventilation opening (10,12).
