Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2375152A2] The device has a brick-lined combustion chamber (1) for hot gas generation, where a boiler (6) is arranged in a direction of flow of hot gas behind the combustion chamber. The boiler is connected with the combustion chamber through a hot gas line (10), and is arranged for heating a heat transfer medium. A brick-lined hot gas cyclone (4) is arranged in the hot gas line between the combustion chamber and boiler. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a drying device, particularly for drying wood products and waste; and (2) a method for generating hot gas by integrated heating of a heat distribution medium, and for use in a drying device.
