Abstract (en)
The lighting unit (1) has a transparent support plate (2) including a surface area (3) that is partly coated with an opaque layer (4). A cabinet (5) is located on the surface area of the support plate, where an innermost surface (6) of the cabinet is reflected by partial light beams. A lamp (7) e.g. inorganic or organic LEDs, is arranged between the cabinet and the surface area of the support plate in a room (16). The light beams produced by the lamp are partly reached into the support plate. A part of the innermost surface comprises a diffuse reflecting surface (8). The diffuse reflecting surface is made of fluorine containing polymer or inorganic material such as barium sulphate and/or gold. The cabinet is made of highly reflecting plastic or highly reflecting metal. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a lighting unit.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beleuchtungseinheit (1), umfassend (a) eine transparente Trägerplatte (2) mit einer ersten Oberfläche (3), die mindestens teilweise mit mindestens einer lichtundurchlässigen Schicht (4) beschichtet ist; (b) ein auf der ersten Oberfläche (3) der transparenten Trägerplatte (2) angeordnetes Gehäuse (5), dessen innere Oberfläche( )6 mindestens teilweise Licht reflektieren kann; und (c) mindestens ein in einem Raum (16) zwischen dem Gehäuse (5) und der ersten Oberfläche (3) der transparenten Trägerplatte (2) angeordnetes Leuchtmittel (7), wobei vom Leuchtmittel (7) erzeugte Lichtstrahlen (23) mindestens teilweise in die transparente Trägerplatte (2) gelangen können; und wobei mindestens ein Teil der inneren Oberfläche (6) eine diffus reflektierende Oberfläche (8) umfasst. Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem die Verwendung der Beleuchtungseinheit (1) als Display und als Innenraumbeleuchtung von Möbeln sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Beleuchtungseinheit.
