Abstract (en)

The antenna has a layer arrangement (30) with three metallized layers (32, 34, 36) that are arranged parallel to each other and separated from each other by dielectric sheets (38, 40). Two of the layers comprise a two dimensions periodical metallization structure, and the third layer comprises a continuous metallization region. A stimulation structure (50) is arranged above one of the layers for stimulating a leakage wave mode in the arrangement with an operating frequency of the antenna. The arrangement has a regular N-corner shape or a circular shape as edge limiting characteristics.
