[origin: WO2010076403A1] The invention relates to a remote control device with an insulating housing (41) having at least one main surface and including an actuator (21) with a mobile portion, driving means (22) interacting with said mobile portion, and a rotary remote control shaft (23) coupled to said driving means for actuating a cut-off device (2), said remote control shaft (23) extending through the main surface in a direction substantially perpendicular to said main surface. In the remote control device, the driving means (22) includes a bistable driving mechanism (137) which is essentially mechanical and which is coupled to the mobile portion of the actuator, said bistable driving mechanism (137) including mobile elements translatably movable along a single driving axis and rotatably movable about said axis. The invention also relates to a remote-controlled circuit breaker comprising the remote control device.
