The method involves controlling a hydraulic motor (M) through a control block equipped with one or more hydraulic valves, where the hydraulic motor drives a winding drum (1). The hydraulic valves are equipped with two pressure control valves, where each pressure control valve is arranged in a flow line and a return line of the hydraulic motor. A pressure difference is adjusted at the hydraulic motor by the pressure control valves. An independent claim is also included for a winding drum, particularly for use in telescopic booms of cranes, for winding up and winding down of wires.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Wickeltrommel, insbesondere von Kranen, für eine auf- und abzuwickelnde Leitung, wobei ein die Wickeltrommel (1) antreibender Hydraulikmotor (M) über einen Hydraulikventile (DR1, DR2, VW) enthaltenden Steuerblock (4) angesteuert wird, wobei die Hydraulikventile (DR1, DR2, VW) zwei Druckregelventile (DR1, DR2) umfassen, die jeweils in einer Zuflussleitung (A) und einer Rückflussleitung (B) des Hydraulikmotors (M) angeordnet sind, wobei über die Druckregelventile (DR1, DR2) eine Druckdifferenz am Hydraulikmotor (M) eingestellt wird, um eine definierte Straffung der auf- und abzuwickelnden Leitung (5) aufrecht zu erhalten.
