Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2010043729A1] A lock which can be operated by either a card or coin, wherein the lock housing is provided with respective grooves for the insertion of a card or coin. The card has an array of holes; the locking tongue has an opening with a groove and one or more inclined projections. A card retaining device with a boss which engages inside said groove and with an array of pins matching the array of holes in the card is arranged between the card and the tongue. A tongue stop is arranged opposite the coin and a dog fitting into said tongue stop by means of a pin, the stop and the dog having the same pivoting axis on the housing. A slide is provided with an inclination inside which the card engages and slides and with a boss against which said dog bears.
