The hood (1) has a vapor screen plate (11) with a recess (111) for receiving a channel (151) and single-piece fastening element (13) for fastening the screen plate to a viewing cover (12). The fastening element encompasses a part of edges of the screen plate and a part of edge of the viewing cover and includes a plastic, where the screen plate includes a glass. The screen plate and the viewing cover include external portions in the recess, and the fastening element is partially positioned in the external portions of the screen plate and the viewing cover.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugshaube, die eine Wrasenschrimplatte (11) mit einer Ausnehmung (111) zur Aufnahme eines Kanals (151), eine Sichthaube (12) mit einer Ausnehmung (121) zur Aufnahme eines Kanals (151) sowie mindestens ein Befestigungselement (13) zur Befestigung der Wrasenschirmplatte (11) an der Sichthaube (12) umfasst, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Befestigungselement (13) zumindest einen Teil des Randes der Wrasenschirmplatte (11) und zumindest einen Teil des Randes der Sichthaube (12) umgreift.
